Based in the Sydney, we work with businesses and individuals across the Australia and around the world. Over the years we have provided expert accountancy, taxation and business advisory services to a wide range of clients, from individuals and partnerships, to small and medium-sized businesses and larger organisations including non-profit organisations.

Our business division can either act as your outsourced CFO or provide corporate services such as accounting, governance and risk planning, debt advice and bookkeeping. Our tax division takes care of tax compliance advice and tax preparation, liaising with the tax office. We also assist our clients with compliance, regulatory assurance services, financial reporting and review services and technical accounting. We also offer far more than traditional compliance services. We aim to work with you, building a proactive relationship that offers practical advice and solutions designed to help you and your business to succeed.

Lisa Yen, Principal

Lisa Yen is an accomplished senior Chartered Accountant and a business advisor with over 25 years of extensive financial experience in tax, business advisory and commercial acumen, within a range of local and international industries and in both private and non-profit sectors.

As the principal of HyVu, she leads a team of strategic business advisory, tax and accounting professionals, servicing both personal clients and businesses. Lisa provides a warm, caring, honest and bespoke service with a friendly approach. She and her team pride themselves on going the extra mile in offering proactive advice that adds long term value. Lisa takes a high level strategic view of your numbers, crafting bespoke solutions to your compliance, tax and accounting needs., She works diligently alongside you, providing practical solutions and fresh new ideas to help you achieve your goals.

As a senior advisor who also acts as an outsourced chief financial officer and strategic business advisor for various companies, Lisa is independent-minded and supportive, and she understands all aspects of the business and does not think just as a finance expert, but rather as an enterprise-wide executive. Lisa’s strong relationships with the CEOs and CFOs she closely works with have been critical to the success of many executive teams. They count on her to be a business partner they can rely upon, a truth teller and financial steward who can strategically explore alternatives and come up with original ideas and solutions on important company decisions.

Lisa is also a skilful communicator, masterful dealing with boards and senior executive teams, and is a professional who is able to articulate the value and vision of a company to its stakeholders in a credible manner. She expertly presents complex data – financial and otherwise – to the boards and companies she serves. She is also well known for her unquestioned transparency and attention to detail in considering the ethical ramifications of all major decisions. Her goal is to ensure that the financial integrity of the organisations and clients she works with remains pristine. Her passions lie in creating an ethical culture that supports the mission, providing expertise and candour while supporting all efforts for senior management and clients to execute.  She is well versed with the governance required of the businesses she services, and she works closely with her clients to meet regulatory financial requirements. She believes the firm and herself provide a service that is a partnership in every sense of the word. 

Her professional career encompasses senior experience at Crowe Horwath Findex, Colliers International and Coca Cola. Lisa is a Director of Basketball NSW and Chair of the Finance Audit Committee and a Director of Sports Stadium Management Pty Limited. She is the current Chairperson and Executive Committee member for the P&C Association - under the Minister of Education - for one of the largest P&C entities in New South Wales. She was also a Non-Executive committee member for Equip Women, a non-profit association providing teaching for women by women.
